The Peer Leading and Learning Exchange (PLLX) is all about relationships. At the core of what PLLX facilitators do is building trust and walking alongside LEA teams as coaches and partners. Their role is to support each team in carrying out the work of CEI in a way that feels meaningful, sustainable, and connected to each team's local context.
PLLX facilitators bring real, hands-on experience from their own CEI journey of using community engagement as an improvement strategy. They know what it's like to navigate challenges, celebrate wins, and keep going when the work gets hard.
PLLX facilitators serve as a bridge, connecting local teams to broader learning and shared wisdom throughout the state. But more than anything, their work starts with relationships and a commitment to walking this journey with LEA teams, every step of the way.
At the heart of this work are the values of Courtesy, Acceptance, Respect, Esteem, and Shared Space (CARES). These principles should guide how we show up, support one another, and create inclusive spaces throughout all CEI activities.
